Staying Connected
Staying Connected is a two day programme which is part of the Floating Support Service. It gives staff and young people an opportunity to come together in a relaxed and informal setting to explore issues around behaviour and lifestyles.

The last Staying Connected looked at: prejudices, consequences, health, drugs, alcohol in a way that allowed the young people to actively participate and communicate. The feedback from the young people has been extremely positive and well-earned certificates are presented at the end of the two days. The programme will run four times a year.

The Energy Programme
The Energy Programme introduces young people to a range of activities moving them towards opportunities of accredited education, training and employment.

All activities, consultation and engagement for young people is regularly monitored and changed to meet new challenges, funding opportunities and local initiatives. The range of activities in the programme consist of motivation initiatives; support with literacy and numeracy; induction; move on and resettlement; food and nutrition and a range of activities that help meet a range of government agendas.

Residents' Allotment
In early June 2004 the Association took on the responsibility for an allotment in Birkenhead. This new project is being run as part of the Energy Programme to encourage residents to be more active and hopefully self sufficient.

If you have any gardening equipment or advice that you would like to pass on to this new and exciting project it would be warmly welcomed.

The Speak Ezy
The Speak Ezy is a venue for residents of Forum to play an active part in the Association and the wider community.

The venue also enables young people to hold meetings, activities and training sessions on subjects that are important and relevant to them.
