Forum acts as an Umbrella Body for the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and as such, provides a competitively priced DBS service to those organisations who require DBS Checks to be carried out on their staff and/or volunteers.
Forum offers two types of service, one is for those organisation’s who have experience in undertaking DBS Checks and are fully competent in completing the forms themselves undertaking the required ID Checks. Organisation’s who opt for this level of service send in the completed DBS forms for our trained staff to check over and send to the DBS. The alternative service is for those organisation’s who do not have experience in the DBS process. With this option, Forum undertake the DBS checks on a face-to-face basis with those staff/volunteers who require them and then send the completed forms to the DBS.
