Following on from last year's successful event the Association held its 2nd Charity Auction on Thursday, 3rd July at the Kings Gap Hotel in Hoylake. The event was held to raise funds directly for young people, to support their aspirations and to develop their progress towards independent living.

The Association raised over £7000 from this event a significant amount of money for a much deserved cause.

The Association is hoping to continue the success of the last 2 years' auctions in its 40th year and has plans to raise further funds in this manner at its Black Tie and Rubies' Ball to be held in June 2009.

If you wish to support us you could always donate an auction prize for the evening or an independent amount of money as a general sponsor to help offset the costs of the evening. Any of these would be gratefully received.
