Last year we had an amazing time at our first big lunch and received a lot of praise from the residents, local public and nationally as a positive case study. The ethos of a big lunch Get-togethers are no new thing to our great nation. They go way back and are thrown for every reason imaginable. From Queen Victoria’s tiara and teacake Golden Jubilee of 1887 to the multi-culture-mash-up of Notting Hill, we Brits know how to throw a party.
Even if it’s just mugs of tea and cake for two over a garden fence, it’s just as significant. One year in, you’re all well on the way to making The Big Lunch the best bash yet.
