The Resident Representative Team Members were not only once housed and supported by the Association, but are now employed to represent the voice of young people using a ‘peer’ led philosophy.
We started off in 2003 at a very basic level of resident meetings and focus groups and this has been developed over the years to meet the ever changing needs of our residents. It is our intention to broaden the opportunities available to young people from an international as well as national and local perspective. This also includes educating our peers about their rights and responsibilities not only within their home but within their community.
Speak Ezy
The Resident Reps, in consultation with residents manage "The Speak Ezy’s” which are trendy venues that are kitted out to cater for our young people to undertake diverse activities, we have one of these venues on Wirral, in Sefton and in Ellesmere Port, all located centrally to our Projects.
