Association Properties

Forum Housing Association offer a range of high quality units of accommodation for single young people aged 16-25, who are homeless or seeking independence.  Forum's units of accommodation are provided within 9 Projects which cater for a range of needs.  All offers of accommodation incorporate a support plan, tailored to the individual's needs, which applicants will be expected to fully participate with.

Ellesmere Port - The Lock

Opened in June 2004, The Lock offers 8 units of high quality accommodation for single young people aged 16-25, who are homeless or seeking independence.     

The support team provide a support, guidance and advocacy service to young people working towards a more self-supporting lifestyle.  Support on site is on a 24 hour basis. Accommodation is provided in fully furnished self-contained flats, 1 ground floor flat is adapted for disabled use.
Ellesmere Port - The Quays

The Quays, Ellesmere Port opened in March 2005 offering 8 units of accommodation for single young people aged 16-25, who are homeless or seeking independence. 

Support, guidance and an advocacy service are provided by visiting support staff.  Emergency support is available on a 24 hour basis by contacting the Lock  Accommodation is provided in fully furnished, 1 bedroomed self contained flats situated over 2 floors. There is a communal hallway. 
Ellesmere Port - The Houses

The Houses are 8 two bedroomed terraced houses, located at various sites in the Ellesmere Port area, which cater for single mothers aged 16-25 years who are in need of housing and support.


Support, guidance and an advocacy service are provided by visiting support staff.  Emergency support is available on a 24 hour basis by contacting the Lock  All accommodation is partially furnished.

Sefton - Seaforth - Akenside

Akenside offers 12 units of high standard supported accommodation for single young people aged 16-25 in the Sefton area.  Primarily the Project provides for young care leavers and supports them through the transition from Local Authority Care to a more self supporting lifestyle.

The accommodation is sited in 2 shared houses and 6 self contained one bedroom flats, located in a new build housing estate community setting. Support, guidance and advocacy are available from visiting support workers.  Emergency support is available on a 24 hour basis.

Sefton - Bootle - The S.E.A.D.

The S.E.A.D. in Sefton offers 18 units of Direct Access and Resettlement Accommodation supporting single young people aged 16 - 25 in housing need. Accommodation and support are geared towards securing move-on options within 28 days wherever possible.

All rooms are single, furnished and are secured. Communal facilities include, kitchen, laundry, showers and a TV lounge. The Project is not wheelchair accessible. On site support is provided on a 24 hour basis.
Sefton - Southport - Leyland Road

Opened in January 2004, Leyland Road in Southport provides 19 units of accommodation, comprising 7 Direct Access and 12 Semi Independent places.  It caters for single young people aged 16 - 25 in housing need.

Support on site is provided on a 24 hour basis.  The support team provide a support, guidance and advocacy service.  Accommodation and support is geared towards securing move-on options.  

All units are single with own shower and wc, furnished, and secured. The Semi Independent units have the added benefit of their own kitchen.  Communal facilities include kitchen (for Direct Access places), laundry and a TV lounge. 

Sefton - Southport - Windsor Road

Windsor Road in Southport offers high standard supported accommodation for single young people aged 16-25 in need of housing and support.  This is ideally suited as a move-on option for young people from Leyland Road.

All accommodation is provided in a three bedroomed shared house.  Support, guidance and advocacy are available from visiting support workers.  Emergency support is available on a 24 hour basis.

Wirral - Ash Villas

Ash Villas in Wallasey provides 54 units of high quality accommodation for single young people aged 16 - 25 in need of housing and support.

The support team provide a support, guidance and an advocacy service to young people working towards a more self-supporting lifestyle.  Support on site is on a 24 hours basis.  Accommodation is provided in furnished self contained flats, 6 ground floor flats are adapted for disabled use with emergency warden call.

Wirral - The Beacon

The Beacon, in Tranmere offers 63 units of high quality accommodation for single young people aged 16-25, who are homeless or seeking independence.  There is also provision for young, single parent families.  

The support team provide a support, guidance and advocacy service to young people working towards a more self-supporting lifestyle.  Support on site is on a 24 hour basis. Accommodation is provided in fully furnished self-contained flats, 6 flats are adapted for wheelchair use.
Wirral - The Bridge

The Bridge, in Birkenhead, offers 26 units of Direct Access and Resettlement accommodation supporting the single homeless aged 16-25.

The Bridge provides young people with a supportive and stable environment, within which personal needs and practical issues are worked through, whilst moving on options are generated and secured.

All rooms are furnished and securable. Communal facilities include, kitchens, dining areas, laundries, showers and TV lounges. All ground floor facilities are wheelchair accessible. Support is provided on a 24 hour basis.

Wirral - The Market Wells Foyer

The Market Wells Foyer in the Hamilton Quarter of Birkenhead, provides 40 units of high quality accommodation, for single young people aged 16-25.

The Market Wells Foyer also offers training facilities and a real opportunity for young people to maintain a home whilst undertaking options relating to Education, Training and Employment.

The support team provide support, guidance and an advocacy service to young people. Support on site is on a 24 hour basis. Accommodation is provided in fully furnished self contained flats. Communal facilities include a laundry and IT suite.

Wirral - The Houses

Located at various sites in the Birkenhead, Oxton and Wallasey areas, The Houses provide a total of 29 units of high quality accommodation for single young people aged 16-25, who are in need of housing and support. 

Accommodation comprises


  • 7 self contained bedsits, 4 with shared bathrooms.
  • 5 self contained 1 bedroom flats and 1 self contained 2 bedroom flat.
  • 12 self contained 1-2 bedroom flats which cater specifically for single teenage parents aged 16-19.
  • 4 self contained flats including 2 on the ground floor which are adapted for wheelchair access.  This site caters specifically for single men and women aged 18-25 with Additional Support needs (physical / learning difficulties or mental health issues) who are able to live in a semi independant setting.

Support, guidance and an advocacy service are provided by visiting support staff.  Emergency support is available on a 24 hour basis.  All accommodation is partially furnished with carpets, cooker and fridge provided.
