History

The Association was formed in 1969 by several people with a vision and heart for young people.  The original identified needs were young single mums in need of housing and support.  Several houses were purchased and converted into flats to house the young mums and staff were on hand to provide support as required.  News of the Association quickly spread amongst young people and provision grew to provide housing and support to any 16 - 25 year old single people who were in need of the Association's services.  The Association has remained true to the original vision and the aspirations of young people remains high on the agenda.
