Forum secures place on the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For list
We are delighted to announce that Forum has scooped the prestigious Sunday Times award by achieving 21st place, nationally, in the ‘Top 100 Not for Profit Companies’ category.
Employees surveyed said that Forum is a great company to work for and the results overall revealed a very happy and motivated workforce.
Employees, half of whom have been on the payroll for at least a decade, always go the extra mile for our young residents and fellow team members. Staff are rewarded for their length of service and hard work through extra holidays and an annual awards dinner at which staff receive awards for their hard work and dedication.
Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services Debbie Thompson commented:
“We are delighted to win this award, we feel that it is a wonderful achievement and reflects the dedication of our staff and volunteers, who work in a really challenging environment, supporting homeless young people. It reflects our ambition to make Forum a great place to work and rewards the hard work we have put into developing our staff which we believe is our greatest asset. Congratulations to all Organisations on this year’s list too, you have set a benchmark of which we are proud of”
One delighted colleague, 20 year old Mike Hardman, also commented…
“Forum Housing is a truly amazing company to work for and I am so proud we have won this award. I came to Forum two years ago as part of a youth contract, which led onto an apprenticeship.
The opportunities, experience and training I have gained has been invaluable and I can’t thank Forum enough as they really have supported me in developing my career. My Manager’s door is always open and all the staff at Forum feel respected and valued. I feel proud to work for a company that not only cares about its customers but its people too.”
